DIRK V. SEEHAUSEN, 51 TOMS RIVER, N.J. - Dirk V. Seehausen, 51, passed away at
home in Toms River, after a long, courageous battle with colon cancer.
Dirk was born Feb. 28, 1957, in Rockford, Ill., where he graduated from West High School in 1975. He was an avid swimmer throughout high school and he received a four-year swimming scholarship from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After graduation from the U of W, Dirk became a corporate auditor for General Electric in 1980. Some of his positions in New York City were director of retail systems for Polo Ralph Lauren, staff vice president of retail systems for Estee Lauder Co. and vice president of retail systems for Kenneth Cole.
Dirk is survived by wife, Barbara; son, Kyle;
stepdaughters, Shannon and Kelly of Toms River; his sons, Evan, Derek and Daniel
Seehausen of Pennsylvania; parents, Richard and Jean Seehausen of Tucson, Ariz.
(formerly of Rockford); and sister, Lyn Racz, and two nieces of Tucson. Memorial
service was held March 15 in All Saints Episcopal Church in Bay Head, N.J.
